✨Project Highlights

  • Restructuring a film for digital platforms. This was a huge editing challenge! How do you restructure a feature-length documentary to work for a digital audience? Knowing that people may stumble onto Episode 3 or 4 before watching the first two, we decided to move away from chronological storytelling to a more thematic structure. I also put together an animated opening sequence to set up the characters and story in the first minute of each episode.

  • Working with Raj Patel and Zak Piper. This was such a wonderful collaboration with the directors of the film. We really appreciated how open they were to finding the best way to approach the story differently in this format. They gave us access to ALL of their raw footage and files and constantly helped us troubleshoot and dig through the archives. They had worked on the film for over ten years but approached this new iteration like it was all still fresh.
